If you haven’t already, consider making the switch to LED lights throughout your home. Built-in LED spots, or inbouwspots LED dimbaar (dimmable led lights), not only look great, but they also save money and energy. LED lighting is good for both you as a consumer and our global environmental community overall. There are plenty of places in your home where switching to LEDs, such as LED fitting spots 230v, can make a big difference in the overall lighting of your home as well as in the amount of energy you use. Here’s how to incorporate LED lights throughout your entire home.

Bathroom LED Spots

These lights, also known as badkamer LED spots, are ideal for bathrooms, which can often get very dark because they have fewer windows than other areas of the home. LED spots work well when placed strategically to highlight your mirrors and counter spaces. Bathrooms are also the perfect place to install dimmable LED lights, because you can adjust them to fit your mood and preferences depending on the time of day.

Outdoor LED Spots

LED spotlights also work well as an outdoor lighting option. LED lights are very bright and direct, so they are ideal for lighting your driveway as well as the sides and back of your house. You can even use LED fittings for your carport. Just as with other types of lights, you can program LED lights to turn on and off automatically with sensors, and you can also install dimmable LED lights if you want to manage their brightness levels.

Kitchen Built-in LED Spots

LED spotlights are also very useful to have in your kitchen, because they are very direct and will perfectly illuminate your kitchen’s work surfaces, such as counters and islands. In addition to installing LEDs overhead, you may also choose to install some LED lights in the spaces between your counters and cabinets for extra illumination, or even to install LEDs in your appliances, such as your microwave, oven, and refrigerator.

Hallway LEDs

Instead of using incandescent lights in your hallway, which create a general pool of soft light, try using LEDs instead. By installing several LED spots close together overhead, you’ll create a bright pool of light that makes your hallway look more inviting. Since LEDs are brighter and more direct than incandescent lights, the result is more light where you actually want it, instead of dim light that isn’t focused.

Living Room LED Spots/Chandeliers

You can also install LED lights in your living spaces. As in other rooms, you may choose to install LED spots overhead to illuminate the room completely. However, you may also want to opt for LED-based chandeliers to better express your style and add some interest to the room. LED lights are a big trend right now among the interior design community, and many brands are now starting to make lighting fixtures that feature LED lights. This allows you to experiment with different styles while still keeping your home environmentally friendly and financially conscious. LED lights are particularly useful for basement living spaces because they are so bright, and basements often don’t see much natural light.

Bedroom LEDs

While you may not want to install overhead spotlights in your bedroom, there are still ways you can incorporate LED lights into your bedroom. If you have table or standing lamps, see if they support LED bulbs instead of incandescent bulbs. You can also opt for wall sconces, which are trendy and very elegant. A wall sconce is a good way to dim the bright light of an LED. You can also opt for dimmable LED lights, which allow you to control the way the light looks in your space.

Giving your home an LED makeover is an easy way to save money in the long run while using minimal amounts of energy. There’s tons you can do with LED lights, and with some creativity, they can be used to illuminate the whole house.
